Secretary/co-ordinator vacancy

The Federation of Entertainment Unions is advertising to fill a vacancy for a secretary/co-ordinator.

The Federation of Entertainment Unions (FEU) is a confederation of trade unions representing the interests of people working for and employed by organisations in the entertainment and broadcasting industries.

The FEU is seeking a consultant to act as an administrator and occasionally as a political lobbyist. The principle responsibilities of the role include the arrangement of meetings; identifying common issues affecting FEU members; and co-ordinating joint parliamentary initiatives.

Candidates will be expected to have experience of working for trade unions or in parliament. Payment will be based on a consultancy rate of £300 per day. However this may be negotiable for candidates with a high level of experience and expertise. It is estimated that the role will require a minimum of 12 days a year.
