SeeTickets recognition won
BECTU has won recognition for collective bargaining at SeeTickets, the ticket agency owned by the Really Useful Theatre Company.
This followed staff voting overwhelmingly in support of the union.
The outcome followed a secret ballot of workers at the company's West End offices conducted by ACAS.
The staff, who are employed in the company's groups, trade and dispatch departments, do not come within the scope of the union's collective agreement with SOLT, the West End employers' Association.
BECTU Supervisory Official Willy Donaghy commented "I would like to thank all the staff who took part in the ballot, especially our representative Nic Lane.
"I look forward to having constructive negotiations with the company and to beginning to address our members' concerns in the workplace."
