ROH 3.5% pay increase

Royal Opera House members have voted to accept a 3.5% pay increase effective from April.

The increase was voted for at a recent members meeting at the ROH.

The increase also includes for Front of House and Shop staff:

• Double time for all hours worked on a Sunday from April 2007
• Double time and a lieu day for Bank Holiday working from April 2008

ROH members considered that the offer was the most that was achievable by negotiation at a time when arts funding is at a level considerably below inflation.
