Odeon congratulations

Odeon members have been congratulated on recruitment leading up to their rejection of management harmonisation proposals.

NEC member and Cineworld Sub-Divisional Committee (SDC) Chair Mick Corfield writes:

I would like to congratulate my Odeon counterpart Steve Grimley and his SDC colleagues on their astonishing efforts to recruit Technicians in the Odeon circuit.

Over the last few months 60 new members have been recruited and this clearly sends a signal to Odeon that BECTU speaks and is working tirelessly on behalf of its Odeon members.

As I have stated before the real strength in negotiation is knowing that you have the support of your members and I know that the Odeon SDC will appreciate this support through this difficult period.

I once again asks that all Cineworld, Empire and Vue members offer any moral support that they can to our friends on the Odeon circuit.

I wish the Odeon SDC good luck and I know that it will be of comfort to them to know that we are thinking of them across all the circuits.
