Training outsourcing petition

A petition is being run on the proposed privatisation of BBC Engineering Training.

The petition, organised by Wood Norton BECTU Rep Kevin Doig, follows the BBC asking Capita for more details than was in their original bid to take over Engineering Training.

Kevin has been invited to a staff meeting with BBC Director General Mark Thompson on 24 March where he intends to take along the responses received on outsourcing Training - therefore all contributions should be sent by lunchtime on 23 March.
