Members in BBC London TV News Production Facilities (NPF) have voted by a narrow margin to accept revised proposals for new rotas.

In a secret postal ballot, the new offer from management was accepted by 54% of those voting.

Just over 100 members were affected by the changes.

BECTU has formally accepted the new working patterns, which took effect on 10 March 2007, but warned NPF management that the slim majority indicated that many members were still sceptical about changes that led to a one-day strike last November.

A joint union/management review has been promised after the first three months, and members are already compiling details of various problems that have occurred in spite of management's willingness to offer concessions after the strike, including more long shifts and revised staffing levels.
