New membership cards issued

New BECTU membership cards are now being issued to members across the union.

The new cards, covering the period 1997-1999, replace the previous 1994-1996 issue.

There has been a delay in issuing membership cards, mainly due to the introduction of a new system for the printing and issuing of cards.

In some areas new cards will not be issued until members who pay subscriptions by deductions from their salaries by their employers have confirmed continuitaion of membership by signing a Deductions at Source (DAS) form.

Any members in doubt about their membership status should contact BECTU Head Office Membership Records Department.
