Respect festival
Fun Lovin' Criminals, Luciano and The Specials are set to headline the second TUC Respect free summer festival on 12 July.
Following the success of last year's event, which attracted over 80000 people, Respect 97 will be a lively celebration of the UK's cultural and racial diversity. The Festival is being held as part of the TUC's contribution to the European Year Against Racism.
Ohter acts supporting the TUC's campaign include Dreadzone, Audioweb, Fun-da-Mental, Frankie Oliver and Los Charangueros.
Entertainment will also be provided for children together with a wide range of exhibition stands and information stalls.
BECTU was among the many unions supporting last year's Respect festival, and is enthusiastically supporting it again this year.
The Respect 97 festival is being held on 12 July 1997 at London's Victoria Park - further details at the TUC's website.
