Writers' career conference

A half day conference focusing on career development for writers has been organised for September in Central London.

Organised by the London and South East branch of the Writers' Guild of Great Britain, the topics will include: market opportunities for writers; how to produce your play for the fringe; fund raising; writing treatments for TV; completing your tax returns and protecting your copyright.

The Career Developments for Writers conference will take place 1300-1700 on 12 September at the Linnaen Society, Burlington House, Piccadilly, London. The cost will be £5 for Writers' Guild members, £7 for non-members.
