Officials and Finance Officer vacancies

BECTU has vacancies for two National Officials and a Finance Officer based at the union's Head Office.

National Officials (both £28,013 per annum)

Organising and representing members in our Broadcasting and Arts & Entertainment divisions. Candidates should have a proven commitment to trade unionism or previous practical experience of industrial relations. The posts are based at our Soho head office, but travel within the UK is required. The posts are open now.

Finance Officer (£34,053 per annum)

Initially on a three-month overlap period commencing in April 2000, then to assume full charge when the present incumbent retires in July. Candidates should have a professional qualification in accountancy, an understanding of professional trade unionism, experience of computerised accounting, and the ability to analyse and present financial information clearly to a non-financial audience. The post is based at our head office.
