Runners career day

A free careers information and advice day is being held for runners.

Skillset is inviting runners who want to progress in the industry to sign up for the day.

The event will attended by leading industry figures, and runners will be able to find out how to make the most of training opportunities available and learn how to produce a professional CV.

The day will provide an opportunity to network with leading employers and successful useful careers information in one place.

Participants will be able to test drive the new media careers information website SkillsforMedia.

Information sessions will be repeated throughout the day to allow runners to attend four sessions covering different topics. There will also be an exhibition of information sources.

The day is a co-operative effort by the BBC, BECTU, LWT, PACT and Producers Guild with Skillset, and will be held on 1330-1900 on 24 April 2001 at the BBC Conference Centre, Marlebone High Street, London.
