Technology journalist Barry Fox will be speaking at a BECTU meeting.
At the meeting Barry will revisit the issues raised in his previous Shape of Things to Come BECTU lecture in May 2000, such as the pros and cons of using the internet for audio visual distribution and the commercial prospects for video projection in cinemas.
Barry contributes regularly to New Scientist, What TV & Video?, Hardware and Studio Sound; he also appears on BBC radio and TV.
The meeting will take place at 1900 on Wednesday 10 October 2001 at BECTU Head Office and will be a ticket-only event for paid-up BECTU members.
