BECTU Secretary vacancy

BECTU has a vacancy for a Secretary starting in 2002 on a fixed term basis.

The union has a vacancy for a Secretary, starting in the New Year, which arises due to an internal secondment. The contract will be for a fixed term, reviewable after six months.

Applicants should have good keyboard skills (including the MS Office suite), readiness to work as part of a team, a good telephone manner, the ability to work unsupervised, and a commitment towards trade unionism and equal opportunities. The postholder will support our team of officials in the broadcasting sector.

Basic salary £20,083 pro rata (pay award due 1 January 2001), six weeks annual leave (pro rata), and good conditions.
