New woman's course

Women's Organising for Growth is a new course for BECTU women Representatives.

The course, to be held in January 2002, is designed specifically for new and emerging women BECTU Branch Representatives.

The course will provide valuable new skills to support Representatives, and will also give a chance to inform BECTU's future policies for the involvement and recruitment of women members in the union.

The course will take place on Thursday January 24 1000-1700 and Friday January 25 0930-1630 at BECTU Head Office in London.

In order to attend members should request time off from their employer - if assistance is required the relevant Branch Secretary or full-time official should be contacted.

The course is free and BECTU will cover the cost of travel and expenses.
