New financial service for members

BECTU has appointed financial consultants to give free advice to members.

Berry, Birch, & Noble, one of the UK's leading independent financial advisors, are offering members of the union expert advice ranging from pension planning to inheritance tax.

As a registered independent advisor, the company is able to offer members financial products from the whole market, and is not tied to any one finance house.

BBN was set up through Unity Trust Bank, the union-owned bank which handles BECTU's own finances.

In addition to free individual advice, Berry, Birch, & Noble are willing to attend seminars, for example, when groups of members face redundancy or early retirement.

BECTU members can access BBN's free services by ringing 0808 172 0001.
