TOSCA Manager vacancy

BECTU is seeking to appoint a Project Manager for the TOSCA Project.

The full-time Project Manager post (23 month fixed term contract) attracts a salary of £30,443.

The post is to deliver and develop the BECTU TOSCA Project which is funded by the DfES Union Learning Fund and which exists to support basic and key skills in the arts and entertainment sector.

Based at our London head office the successful applicant will have:

• Well developed communication skills
• Good project management skills
• Knowledge of lifelong learning funding sources.
• Knowledge of current government policy on lifelong learning
• Negotiating skills
• An understanding of basic and key skills issues in the workplace
• Commitment to the principles and aims of the trade union movement
• Knowledge or experience of the arts and entertainment sector
• A good general standard of education
• Good IT Skills - working knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional (Word, Excel and Outlook)
