New health benefits

HealthSelect is a new range of voluntary benefits for BECTU members.

BECTU has negotiated the new range of benefits with preferential terms and rates for members.

HealthSelect offers benefits package tailored to every member's needs.

The package includes:

• Income Protection Plan - providing cover if unable to work due to illness or accidental injury.
• Hospital Cash Plan - cash benefits whilst in hospital or convalescing due to illness or accidental injury.
• Critical Illness Plan - lump sum benefits in the event of serious illness.
• Family Income Benefit Plan - cover in the event premature death but pays monthly income to the family rather than a lump sum.
• Personal Accident Plan - lump sum benefits in the event of accidental injury.

The scheme is provided and underwritten by Aon's largest underwriting subsidiary Combined Insurance.
