Learning site launched

BECTU has launched its Learning Studio website at the union's Annual Conference today (8 May 2004).

The Learning Studio site is for BECTU members who are Union Learning Reps (ULRs) - or thinking about becoming one.

The Learning Studio is intended to provide a focus for ULRs and the educational and training activity within the union.

The overall function of ULRs is to promote a culture of learning at work and to develop ways to provide information, advice and guidance about learning opportunities for employees and workers.

The development of this site was made possible by support from the Union Learning fund.
