2009 Lottery consultation

The DCMS is carrying out consultation on how Lottery funds should be spent in arts and film after 2009.

The web-based questionnaire, being carried out the DCMS (Department of Culture Media and Sport) closes at the end of February 2006.

The union believes any proposals resulting from the consultation could have significant implications for freelance, laboratories and arts based members.

BECTU wants to make sure that public support for Lottery investment in arts and film is well represented in this consultation.

Responses to the consultation will then inform a formal consultation document.
