Soho Images dispute solved

Industrial action at Soho Images is over following an overwhelming vote to accept management proposals.

In a consultative ballot members voted by 91% to accept the management offer, with a 82.5% turnout.

The proposals were brokered at ACAS, but it required a number of meetings to resolve a sick pay issue.

The deal is for two years, with a 3% salary increase from 1 July 2006, 1% over the original offer, and 3% from 1 July 2007.

Supervisory Official Rob Newland said: "We all hope the damage done to industrial relations at Images can be repaired in what will hopefully be a stable period".
