TLS vote for new conditions

BECTU members at The London Studios have voted to accept new terms and conditions.

The ballot took place after months of negotiations on proposed new terms and conditions at The London Studios (TLS).

Members of Amicus in the Lighting Department voted to reject the proposals.

Following a meeting between TLS management, BECTU and Amicus on Wednesday 26 April 2006, the company stated that they would be accepting the separate ballot results and would therefore be implementing the new terms and conditions for BECTU grades from 3 July 2006.

They also confirmed that a 2.5% increase in pay will also be implemented for BECTU grades affected by the proposals, as agreed during the negotiations.

The London Studios are one of ITV's main production centres and are located on the Southbank.
