WPDs is one of the union’s most active freelance branches. The committee is particularly keen that the branch should connect with both the creative and the industrial issues which face both established and new members.

The branch is the driving force behind BECTU’s annual Freelance Fair and also organises a number of special events during the year. The most recent of these was a lively and entertaining discussion involving film director, Ken Loach, and BECTU General Secretary, Gerry Morrissey.

For further information about the Christmas event, please email WPDs or contact BECTU head office on 020 7346 0900.
