Timetable issued by Conference Standing Orders Committee (SOC) for the 2009 BECTU Annual Conference.

28 January 2009	Closing date for receipt of proposed policy propositions by 1200 at BECTU Head Office.
29 January 2009	Propositions and the NEC's preliminary annual report sent to Branches, together with forms to advise intention to speak on paragraphs of the NEC's report, and to notify delegates (indicating their preferences for workshop sessions at Conference).
4 March 2009	Closing date for receipt of amendments to policy propositions, for giving notice of intended debate on specified paragraphs of the NEC's report, and for nominations to the Standing Orders Committee, Appeals Committee and Trustees for 2009-2010 by 1200 at BECTU Head Office.
13 March 2009	Branches to notify details of their delegates in order to ensure accommodation and travel arrangements (note this deadline is a hotel requirement), delegates' workshop preferences should also be indicated.
26 March 2009	Printed Conference agenda published to notified delegates and Branches.
24 April 2009	Some Divisional Conferences commencing at 1400 in Bournemouth.
25 April 2009	Annual Conference in Bournemouth.
