26 January 2000	Closing date for receipt of policy propositions (motions) from branches by 1200 at BECTU Head Office
2 February 2000	Policy propositions published to Branches
15 March 2000	Closing date for receipt of amendments to policy propositions, and for nominations to the Standing Orders Committee for 2000-2001, by 1200 at BECTU Head Office
24 March 2000	Branches to notify details of their delegates in order to ensure accommodation and travel arrangements
14 April 2000	Conference agenda published to notified delegates and Branches
6 May 2000	Closing date for nominations to the Appeals Committee and Trustees for 2000-2001 by opening of Conference.
6 May 2000	Conference opens in Manchester
7 May 2000	BBC, Independent Broadcasting, Regional Production and Arts & Entertainment Divisional Conferences at Manchester
