A&E, BBC and IB AGS ballot

Balloting has opened to fill the vacant BECTU Assistant General Secretary position.

Members in the Arts & Entertainment, BBC and Independent Broadcasting Divisions are being balloted to fill the vacancy created by the election of Gerry Morrissey to General Secretary.

Two candidates are standing in the election, both current BECTU officials:

• Luke Crawley - BBC Division Supervisory Official
• Willy Donaghy - Arts & Entertainment Division Supervisory Official

The ballot closes on 8 June 2007.

The independent scrutineer for the election is Electoral Reform Services, The Election Centre, 33 Clarendon Road, London N8 0NW.
