IB nominations sought

Nominations are invited for the Independent Broadcasting NEC vacancy.

The vacancy is a result of only one valid nomination being made for two Independent Broadcasting seats on BECTU's NEC (National Executive Committee) earlier this year.

Nominations must be made by BECTU Branches in the Independent Broadcasting Division, and the closing date for receipt of nominations is 1200 on Friday 9 August 2002.

BECTU's Independent Broadcasting Division covers:

• ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and S4C
• ITC, NTL and the Radio Authority
• National and local independent radio companies
• Satellite and cable companies
